About the Creditinfo Group
After Lánstraust hf had established its operation in Malta, Creditinfo Malta Ltd, it became clear that the Icelandic company was looking to expanding beyond the shores of two small island nations. It also became clear that the structure that supported operations in two relatively small markets would not support operations in three more and larger countries.
The CreditInfo Group was founded by the shareholders of Lánstraust hf to focus exclusively on the internationalisation of operations and to provide the support necessary to make Lánstraust's ventures into new markets successful. The CreditInfo Group is a new development for Lánstraust, a development which is already paying dividends. The group already operates in twenty five countries including: Iceland, Malta, Cyprus, Romania, Lithuania, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Norway, Greece, Ukraine in Europe; and Kazakhstan, Georgia and several other middle-eastern countries such as Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, U.A.E., Oman and Yemen; and Egypt in Africa.
